Save money. Save the planet. It's easy!
WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?
Mojarra invite your Community Group or School to get involved in the “Sustainable Suburbs in the West” program*. This program provides FREE energy and water saving consultations (funded by the federal government), as well as FREE light globe and showerhead exchanges, and access to a range of discounted products. The idea is to help improve the environmental performance of houses in the western suburbs of Melbourne, saving people loads on rising electricity and water costs, and reducing carbon emissions.
HOW CAN WE GET INVOLVED?
Mojarra can provide your group with free information sessions on energy and water saving tips, together with bulk-buys on products such as solar power, hot water systems, rainwater tanks & grey water systems. We are currently seeking venues for sessions, and will promote your organization for open community workshops if you wish.
Members also have the option to register for a FREE Home Sustainability Assessment, where an expert consultant visits their home for around an hour, advising on the best ways to make their specific house more energy and water efficient. A report is provided, which outlines a list of beneficial actions to take, which can be prioritized based on cost or savings, this is fully Government funded
